Pre and Post Childbirth Exercise Program

We will perform kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor, a very important aspect. We will teach you to perform a wide range of these exercises. We will do soft stretches and we will convey the importance of proper warm up and cool down.

We will base the strengthening exercises on performing fifteen to twenty repetitions, breathing properly and avoiding apnea. We perform the expiration in the most intense phases of the exercise.

We will put more effort in the muscles that normally tend to weaken during pregnancy.

We will pay attention to the paravertebral musculature.

Also light cardiovascular exercises are important, we recommend not to perform cardiovascular exercise until exhaustion.

After pregnancy we will progress slowly, strengthening the muscles of the whole body and improving your physical condition.

We will avoid the uncomfortable exercises, we will strengthen the weaker musculature above the more toned to balance and avoid decompensations. With that same philosophy we will also stretch them.

We will emphasize the abdominal and lumbar girdle beginning with hipopresives exercises and we will increase the intensity and the variability of exercises in function of your progression, until you get to recover your figure and your better state of physical form.
